On July 31, 2025, the Yagami Innovation Laboratory (YIL) and KeiDGs co-hosted an “International Coffee Break” event at YIL on Yagami Campus.
This event was organized by Associate Professor Anthony Beaucamp from the Faculty of Science and Technology, who is also a KeiDGs working group member, with the aim of deepening exchanges between international and Japanese students. This is its seventh iteration since it was first held on October 8, 2024.
For the first time, a counselor from the Student Counseling Room who can offer consultations in English also participated. Around 16 students, faculty, and staff members had friendly conversations in a congenial atmosphere while enjoying some coffee. For international students, it was a good opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Student Counseling Room.
The group is planning to host the International Coffee Break on a monthly basis.
