Keio University Faculty of Science and Technology will participate in “Girls Meet STEM College,” a program by the Yamada Shintaro D&I Foundation for junior high and high school female students to experience student life in STEM (science) fields.
On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Yamada Shintaro D&I Foundation hosted a press conference at the Shibaura Institute of Technology. Associate Professor Tomoko K. Shimizu, who is responsible for KeiDGs (Keio Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Goals) in the Faculty of Science and Technology, spoke.

The Girls Science Club held last August was well received, offering hands-on chemistry experiments, roundtable discussions with Keio university female students and alumnae, and a meeting between parents and faculty and staff members (see photos).
This year, the Girls Science Club will be held within the framework of this Girls Meet STEM College. We are preparing to provide junior high and high school female students with an opportunity to enjoy learning about STEM fields and experiencing actual student life. Stay tuned!
