On Friday, March 7, 2025, the KeiDGs Working Group Annual Activity Report Meeting was held at the Collaborative Design Room on the 3rd floor of Building 34 at the Yagami Campus.

The KeiDGs Working Group was established in April last year and has been engaged in DEI activities within the Faculty of Science and Technology for the past year. The group is divided into three subgroups based on the purpose of their activities, with each focusing on one of the following objectives: “Spreading the Philosophy,” “Recruiting DEI Talent,” and “Creating a DEI-Friendly Environment.”At the venue, KeiDGs candies were distributed to attendees as part of efforts to promote KeiDGs. Additionally, to mark the occasion of the report meeting, a large KeiDGs banner, measuring 3 meters in height and 4.5 meters in width, was displayed on the wall of the Sōsōkan building at the campus entrance.

In the opening address, Professor Toshiyuki Murakami, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, emphasized the importance of DEI activities in universities. During the activity report session, the leaders of each subgroup presented their progress. In the Q&A session, participants raised issues regarding DEI activities in the Faculty of Science and Technology and shared their expectations for future initiatives.The event was attended by approximately 20 faculty and staff members, with an additional 15 participants joining online.
