Keio x Korea (K2) Global Leadership Seminar: A Two-University Exchange Program

The Global Leadership Seminar, a student exchange program between the Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, and the College of Engineering, Korea University (K2), was held from August 1st ~ 8th. Since last year, the program, which is in its 11th year, has been conducted in both countries, opening at Keio and finishing at Korea.
This year’s theme was “From Engineer to Entrepreneur: Crafting Business Pitches for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.” Keynote lectures were given by professors from both universities, and a globally active entrepreneur was invited as a guest speaker. The students, divided into six teams comprising members from both universities, participated in a workshop on giving a business pitch and prepared a presentation based on the theme. On the final day, all teams gave their final presentations at Korea University.
During the program the students also had opportunities to explore their respective countries in teams. They spent eight fruitful days learning, discussing, and socializing.
